Since the release of her 1998 breakthrough album Just Won't Burn, Susan Tedeschi has impressed critics and fans with her soulful, bluesy voice and virtuoso guitar playing. Part of the new generation of blues musicians looking for ways to keep the genre exciting, vital and evolving, Tedeschi freely mixes classic R&B, blues and her own gospel and blues-flavored original songs.
A graduate of Berklee Music College, she has toured with The Rolling Stones, BB King, Etta James, and Bob Dylan, who personally asked Susan to join his tour after catching one of her sets. Susan was nominated as Best New Artist at the 2000 Grammy Awards and garnered additional Grammy nominations in 2003 and 2006.
