New England Contra Dance featuring lively dance figures and music from the Celtic, Scottish, French-Canadian, English and traditions. We walk through each dance before it starts. If you'd like an introduction to the dances, there is a welcoming session at 7:30 before the dance.
Great social exercise for people from 8 to 80. Family atmosphere, in an alcohol- and tobacco-free environment. No partner necessary -- come alone or with a friend, or meet a new one. Come join the fun!
Bring drinking water, a snack to share if you wish, and comfortable flat clean-soled shoes to protect the floor. Wear light loose clothing -- nothing fancy.
The hall is air conditioned in the summer!
